You can pay your tuition upon arrival. We accept American currency, VISA or American Express traveler's checks, and Guatemalan Quetzal. We have had some problems with other brands of traveler's checks at our bank and can no longer accept these. See Reservations for information on how to enroll.

There is a lending deposit of $20 USD for books used during the program. The deposit is returned to you in full upon return of school materials.

Groups

We can work with larger groups. We have enough space to work with 50 people. You'll find our rates competitive, and our facilities second-to-none.

We can arrange transportation, home stays, provide classrooms, VCR, whiteboards, computer, printer, fax machine, food, bottled water, snacks, food, coffee, and recreational facilities. We can arrange for supplemental instruction. We are a one-stop shop for a college or university desiring to conduct coursework in Central America.

We have several unique advantages over most other schools in our area, including the most floor space. In addition we own a restaurant, which is located right next to the school therefore, you don't have to leave the area to eat, or be concerned about how to feed vegetarians, etc. We're close to the center of town, the second largest city in Guatemala.

Xela is a working town, there's good medical care if it's needed, and people can remain in touch via email and phone. If need be, students can return on an emergency basis: aircraft come and go every day. Xela strikes a nice balance between many extremes. Its climate is essentially perfect, neither too hot, nor unduly cold.

We've distinguished ourselves from other schools of our type by being able to customize your experience. If we understand your objectives, we can summon the resources only local people who've lived in the town for generations can bring to the table. We have connections to the three local universities, and the local professional community. We can arrange for local speakers and tours of local facilities.
